Ski and Winter

HOW DO I GET TO THE SLOPES?

The lift facilities of the Monterosa Ski resort, are in Alagna, 3 km far from the Mirtillo Rosso.

You can reach them by the ski bus that leaves the hotel every day from 8 am until 5 pm. During the week the ski bus leaves every 40 minutes until 12.30 pm and then at 2.40 pm after the lunch break. Durante week ends and holidays it leaves more ofthen, without breaks.

It’s also possible to reach Alagna by car but we don’t suggest this option. Parking spaces require a payment and are far from the lift facilities.

HOW DO THE CHILDREN SKIING CLASSES WORK?

Children aged 3 to 5 can take private lessons or ski in very small groups (2/3). The lesson lasts 1 hour. The first time, children are accompanied by parents. During the first lesson, children will be judged by the ski instructors and in case of a positive result, starting from the second lesson, we’ll accompany the children with our dedicated shuttle bus. After the lesson, 3 years old children can stay at the Baby Club (upon reservation), while the older ones, can stay at the Mini Club.

Children aged 5 and older, take group lessons: with friends it’s more fun! We meet in our Ski room at 8.45 am and we go skiing all together with our private shuttle bus. The lesson with the Scuola di Sci e Snowboard di Alagna starts at 9.30 am and ends at 12.30 pm. After the lesson we go back to the hotel wher the children can have lunch at the Mini Club, so that parents can ski even in the afternoon.

ARE THERE DISCOUNTS WHEN SKIING THE FULL WEEK?

For those who can’t wait to ski and to try the challenge of a final race! If you attend the skiing lessons from Monday to Friday, you get one day for free!

Groups will be organized based on the participants’ skills: blue, red and black pistes. But you have to work hard! During the week, you could also reach a higher level! We meet in our ski room every morning at 8.45 am, we get on our shuttle bus and reach the pistes where we ski with the ski instructor of the Scuola Sci Alagna from 9.30 am until 12.30 pm. After the lesson, we come back to the hotel for lunch!
